Our Students Shine on the Global Stage with Yale!

We are thrilled to announce that three of our outstanding students have been accepted into the highly competitive Yale Young African Scholars (YYAS) Program — a testament to their academic excellence, leadership potential, and global vision.

According to YYAS, the program has a highly competitive acceptance rate of less than 6%, meaning only a small percentage of thousands of applicants are selected each year. This makes the achievement of our students even more remarkable.

Fatima Akmal Bakari was selected for the YYAS Online Program, a rigorous academic experience that brings together students from across the African continent for interactive seminars, leadership workshops, and university guidance.

Umm-Kulthum Aliyu Aboki and Rabi Amal Tahir were accepted into the YYAS Residential Program in Nairobi, Kenya! This immersive summit will allow them to engage with top African scholars, participate in high-level discussions, and explore university pathways while representing our school with excellence.

This is a proud moment for Al-Hidaayah Academy, as our students continue to shine on international platforms. May Allah make this achievement inspire others to reach higher and embrace every opportunity for growth and impact and may He preserve them, increase them in beneficial knowledge, and make them leaders of righteousness. Aamiin.

Congratulations to Fatima, Umm-Kulthum, and Amal!
