Student performance is evaluated through a comprehensive and balanced assessment system. This includes regular homework and classwork, consistent monitoring of attendance, and a Continuous Assessment Test (CAT) conducted at the midpoint of the term. At the end of the term, students sit for final examinations to measure their overall understanding. In addition, each subject incorporates project-based assessments, encouraging creativity, critical thinking, and real-world application of knowledge.
In the second term, the assessment structure is similar, with homework, classwork, attendance, and mid-term CATs still in place. However, instead of final examinations, students engage in a whole-school project.
Each year, a unique theme or topic is introduced, and students are randomly assigned to groups to encourage teamwork and collaboration. Together, they research, plan, and execute their projects, culminating in a final group presentation at the end of the term.
The third term mirrors the first, with all regular assessments, including final exams. However, Year 11 students also sit for their IGCSE Mock Examinations during this term in preparation for their final external assessments.
