Arabic Day
Arabic Day is one of our most vibrant and enriching whole-school events, dedicated to celebrating the rich culture and heritage of the Arab world — the birthplace of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ).
The day features a variety of exciting activities, including Arabic language challenges, melodious Qur’an recitations, and short Arabic films that immerse students in the beauty of the language and its history.
Students from Year 10 Economics, Business Studies, and Marketing collaborate in groups to plan, cook, and sell food, competing to earn the highest profit. Prior to the event, they design and execute marketing strategies — including posters, advertisements, and product branding — adding a real-world business element to the celebration.
Year 11 students take part by transforming classrooms into immersive, country-themed exhibits, each decorated to reflect a specific Arab nation of their choice. These interactive rooms allow students to experience the sights, sounds, and flavours of different Arab cultures.
To top it all off, everyone comes to school dressed in traditional Arab attire, adding to the vibrant and authentic atmosphere of the day.
Wellness Week
Wellness Week is a dedicated week focused on promoting physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing across our school community. Students participate in daily exercises, a long walk and jog, and engaging seminars on healthy lifestyles, nutrition, and self-care.
Rooted in the understanding that our bodies are an amanah from Allah, Wellness Week encourages students to take care of themselves in a way that aligns with both faith and healthy living. It’s a refreshing and motivating experience that helps students build lifelong habits of wellness and balance.
On the last day, students from different houses participate in a fitness challenge, and the house with the most points win!
Study Skills Seminar Week
Study Skills Seminar Week is a practical and empowering program designed to help students become more effective and independent learners. Whether preparing for exams or building lifelong habits, this week equips students with the tools they need to thrive academically and beyond.
