Year 10: The Work Experience Programme (WEP)
At Al-Hidaayah Academy, the Work Experience Program me(WEP) is a hands-on learning opportunity designed specifically for Year 10 students. Held after the second term, this programme requires students to spend a set period working in a real-world environment — such as a business, school, organisation, or other professional settings.
The experience forms part of their third term assessment, giving students the chance to develop practical skills, explore career interests, and gain insight into the working world. At the end of the programme, each student is required to deliver a presentation reflecting on their experience, lessons learned, and personal growth — all of which contribute to their overall grade.
