Welcome to School Extra Activities!
At Al-Hidaayah Academy, it is important to us that everyone gets involved in sports. We want our students to take part, join the team, and do their best. This means that everyone gets the same opportunities to learn and practice, the same coaching, and access to the same facilities.
Both boys and girls are taught Football, Volleyball, Table tennis, Badminton, Basketball, and Tennis. Soon swimming and Horse Riding opportunities will also be introduced.
We are very proud of the fact that our students enjoy sports and that those who did not participate in sports before joining Al-Hidaayah have begun to enjoy doing so.
At Al-Hidaayah Academy we recognize that student learning cannot be confined to the classroom and that excursions play a vital role in expanding the students’ perception of the world. In line with our Islamic ethos, all students take a weekly excursion to a mosque in the community in order to expose them to key religious obligations and modes of worship in Islam. All excursions are specifically chosen to extend learning according to the curriculum.
At Al-Hidaayah, we believe that Allah entrusts parents as the primary educators of their children. Therefore, it is the parents’ right and duty to become the primary role models for the development of their child’s life – physically, mentally, spiritually, emotionally, morally, and psychologically.
As models for our children, we strive to be living examples of character and virtue. At Al-Hidaayah Academy, we incorporate character education, rooted in the teachings of Islam, into areas of our daily curriculum. We recognize that consistency and your prayers are necessary for forming virtue, the foundational habits of a good life.
Al-Hidaayah Academy is a partnership between parents, students, and staff to provide the best possible education for our students. In order to achieve our ambitious goals, we require parents to make a commitment to support the School by upholding the vision as well as the rules and regulations at home. In addition, it is necessary that parents attend all school events when required.
Parental participation is mandatory for a child’s success.
